Berryz Kobo - 21ji Made no Cinderella

I cannot believe that Berryz disbands next week. That's insane to think about. I felt like that time would never come. I still don't 100% percent like the idea of Momoko in Country Girls, but since I can't change anything I'm glad that she has found her place after Berryz's end. We also have found out that Saki & Chinami will be staying in the company in advisor/staff roles. Then Maasa will also be doing stage plays after Berryz. Yurina has chosen to focus on education first, which I certainly admire her for doing. Then I believe it was said that she will be trying to be a model. Most surprising to me is that Miyabi and Risako have chosen to go on breaks. I figured Risako would end up being the one to fully leave the spotlight, but I'm surprised that Miyabi didn't announce something that she'd be doing right away. I thought it would be nice to do a post about Berryz before their final concert, so I chose this release....mainly because it was next in the pile of CDs that I have waiting to be reviewed haha.

This is Berryz's eighth single and was released in 2005 and also the last song to feature member Maiha Ishimura. It's hard to believe that this song is almost ten years old. It's always interesting going back to their very early releases and then listening to their newest music. I think it's really incredible that these girls were picked at such a young age and ended up being true talents. The song itself has that whole 50s retro feel to it, but not as much as a song like Waracchaou yo Boyfriend though. The music video is set at a very 50s looking diner as well. They all look so young in the video. It also makes me wonder what the group would have been like had Maiha stayed. 4.5/5.

21ji Made no Cinderella MV:

The B-side for this single is Himitsu no Utahime. I'm honestly not a big fan of this song. It's just ok. It's a pretty standard H!P B-side. It doesn't help that their vocals are still pretty young so the slower pace of the song can get grating after a while. 3/5.

Himitsu no Utahime (Audio Only):

The single itself isn't one of their best. It's more in the middle of their discography. 4/5.

I know this is a weird single to choose as the post before Berryz's disbandment, but I don't think I could make it through a full album or a single I like more before hand. I don't generally care about graduations, but this one's a little different. It's going to be hard at first to see H!P without Berryz. They've been here for so long and within the next couple of days they will be gone. I want to wish the members of the group a lot of luck in their futures and I hope they are blessed with their future choices, even if it's wanting to go back to a normal life. They deserve it after all of the years they sacrificed to be in the group. Thank you Berryz for putting your hearts into entertaining us. I'll miss them.

Song Recommendations (February 26, 2015 Edition)

So I've been REALLY busy with work and classes lately and haven't been able to post many things so I thought I'd so another of these with songs I've been listening to lately to get me through this stressful period.

Tochiotome25 - Dokkan! Ichigo Sakusen

According to what I saw on H!O, the new Kenshuusei in H!P is a former member of this group. So naturally I checked out the posted videos to see what the group was like, and I really like this one. I really shouldn't because it's very typically idol and I tend to dislike that stuff, but this one is cool.

Babymetal - Iine!

Yeah this is older but I haven't featured it here yet so I'm going to. I really like Babymetal. I think they're pretty cool. Either this or Megitsune is my favorite Babymetal track, can't decided. I've heard that Moa & Yui are graduating from Sakura Gakuin this spring. I'm excited to see what Babymetal will be up to once they can focus fully on the group.

Q'uelle - Monster

I don't remember where I first came across this video. I know it was a forum, but I can't remember which one. (I lurk on like 6...forums kind of freak me out when it comes to posting xD). I like the pop-rock that these girls have going on. It's something different.

Yumemiru Adolescene - #Suterusu Bukai 25:00

I know it's a sharp instead of a pound sign/hashtag in front but I don't have a sharp key on my keyboard so yeah. I've been following Yumemiru off and on for about a year. They release music that is good, but nothing ever really stuck with me. This one did.

Bakusute Sotokanda Icchome - Seishun Chronicle

Otherwise known as Akihabara Backstage Pass. I know that Tsunku has produced some songs for them, but I don't know if this is one. It feels like it would be, but I can't tell. Good song though.

Enjoy!

Momoiro Clover Z - 5th Dimension

This CD is going to be an adventure to write about. Probably one of my all time favorite J-pop albums. When I first started listening to MCZ, I didn't understand all of the hype. Neo Stargate & Birth O Birth were okay, but I still didn't understand why exactly they were being so praised. Then I heard Saraba and fell in love with it, bought the CD, and then proceeded to be blown away. It's really too bad that this album seems to be their peak. Everything that's come after it sans Gounn is just not even close to the musical caliber this album is on.

Track #1, Neo Stargate: Let me just preface this review with the fact that these girls can't really sing. Like at all. The green girl (Momoka? I think her name is) seems to have some talent, but as a group, they're just really not good. However, that truly doesn't matter with this album. The music video for this (where I first heard the song) should contain this crazy musical intro. I've never heard an 8 minute song that goes by so fast and still leaves you wanting more. I wish I knew what piece was in the beginning of this song. Sure, I could look it up, but I don't care that much. It's just very powerful....and I swear I heard it on a Domino's commercial during the Super Bowl xD. It's actually pretty difficult to speak about the songs on this album. They're so different than the usual J-pop stuff you can find. Absolutely brilliant opener though. 5/5.

Track #2, Kaisou Dystopia: This poor poor song. I feel so bad for it. It's placed right between Neo Stargate and Mugen no Ai. Such a horrible placement. It makes it instantly forgettable just because of it's placement. It isn't one of the better songs on the album though so I do understand it's place. However, it is still darn good. Particularly the ending of the choruses. 4/5.

Track #3, Mouretsu Uchuu Koukyoukyoku Dainana Gakushou "Mugen no Ai": Also known as my most played song of all time. I've listened to it well over 200 times and I'm still not sick of it. I usually burn out on songs around 30-50 plays, but this is just on another level. Honestly, I'm not even sure if there's a song on the planet that's better than this. This is their true Magnum Opus. They'll never top it. In 20 years when people are speaking of the best songs Japan has to offer, I'm confident this will be in that conversation. It's just so incredible I can't even begin to describe the song in any way. 5/5.

Track #4, 5 The Power: Another song I feel bad for because it has to follow Mugen no Ai. Fortunately for this song, there's not much to miss by it being overshadowed by Mugen no Ai. It's still different, but I personally don't feel that it was pulled off as well as it could have been. The girls as rappers doesn't work well. The chorus also would work better as a pre-chorus too with something more powerful or memorable as the actual chorus. 3/5.

Track #5, Roudou Sanka: Another truly fantastic track. I keep reading Sanka as Santa though. It's quite amazing how this album tends to grow on you more and more listening to it. I had ignored this part for the better part of the time I owned this CD, but one day it clicked. This really sounds like a protest song to me. Even after looking at the lyrics all I can associate this song with is like labor unions xD Maybe it's just because I'm a history major at college and I've had quite a few classes that go over labor unions. 5/5.

Track #6, Get Down!: This isn't one of the better songs on the album, but I personally enjoy it. The singing in the song gets on my nerves quickly though. Again, they're not the best singers at all, but they way they sing in this song is more annoying than the usual high pitched idol singing. It's a good thing it's the shortest song on the album or I probably wouldn't have liked it. 4/5.

Track #7, Z Otome Sensou: I've been getting into this one a lot recently. Reminds me a lot of Syachihoko's Otome Juken Sensou (for obvious reasons xD) but the title similarity really mad me start listening to this one a lot since that's one of my favorite Syachihoko songs. This isn't on the same level as Mugen no Ai or Roudou, but it's one of the better tracks of the album. 4.5/5.

Track #8, Tsuki to Gingami Hikousen: The second half of this album tends to be pretty lackluster compared to the first half. Sure this half has Birth & Saraba, but as a whole, the album not structured very well. I can never remember how this song goes. Sadly, it goes from the intro sounding like it could be a pretty rocking power ballad into a pretty typical idol ballad. Blah. At least their vocals sound good here. 3/5.

Track #9, Birth Ø Birth: Only time you'll see me use the slashy O when referring to the song. It's pretty much just a style choice my the songwriter & I'm not wasting my time to copy/paste it or figure out how to type it on my computer. But anyway, it's nice to have this song come after Tsuki. The album really needs a pickup after that song. I find the placement of this song on the CD interesting. It's certainly designed to follow Neo Stargate like the music videos do, but on the album it's 8 tracks away. I like the placement though. Having this song in the first half too would just make the second half even worse than it is. Pretty much if you like Neo Stargate, you'll like this too. 5/5.

Track #10, Joukyu Monogatari (Carpe Diem): This is a song I'd classify as good, but forgettable. It suffers from what I like to call the "Mugen no Ai effect", as in it suffers from the placement right after Birth. It also has a more traditional idol feel to it to me than some of their other songs. 4/5.

Track #11, Soratobu! Ozashiki Ressha: Except for Hai no Diamond, this is my most listened to on the CD. Honestly it just sounds like a typical "jazzy" J-pop track to me. Very uninteresting. 3/5.

Track #12, Saraba, Itoshiki Kanashimitachi yo: This was the song that got me interested in MCZ. I don't remember how I came across it, but I just remember being wowed. Their other songs that I had sampled did nothing for me at that time, but this was so different. When I found the song, all I really cared about in idol groups was H!P and certain 48G songs. I had listened to other groups and had determined that the others just weren't worth listening to. While today I still believe that the majority really aren't anything special, this song helped me to be a little more open minded about exploring new groups. It was just so different. The only thing that bothers me is that "chanting" in English in the bridge. It's kind of annoying. 4.5/5.

Track #13, Hai to Diamond: I really don't care about this song. I don't dislike it, I just don't care that it exists. For a ballad, the music is very beautiful to me. It's too bad that their vocals kind of ruin it. MCZ really should stick to crazy upbeat tracks. Ballads are really not their thing. 3/5.

So I guess that for full album reviews I won't talk about music videos. It makes this not so long (and I actually forgot that music videos were a thing for this album until this morning driving to class when it popped into my head that I forgot about them xD). Even though the second half of the album is underwhelming compared to the first half, the album still remains one of my favorite J-pop albums of all time. [Note: not all of the songs are in the playlist, some things I can't find on YouTube.] 4.5/5.

Berryz Kobo - Romance wo Katatte/Towa no Uta

To be honest I never expected Berryz's final single to have been released in November. I was certain they were going to release one more single in the new year. It's interesting that they aren't going to, but I suppose it is best to completely focus on the final album and concert instead of promoting another single, not to mention it's a little late to put out another single now. I'm very happy that this single sold so well for them. Of course it sold like it did because it was their last single, but it's nice to see them go out with a bang instead of average.

The first track on their final single is Romance wo Katatte. This is a good song, but it's not their best from last year. It has a very Christmasy feel to it which is nice for the season it was released in. When they leave H!P, I'm really going to miss Risako's voice. I like her a lot. The music video for this is really nicely done. I think it's pretty cool how towards the end of last year, H!P was beginning to experiment with video effects. The retro music show set, the perfectly done CG effects, and the gorgeous outfits make this one of their best videos ever. 4.5/5.

The second A-side is Towa no Uta. This song is weak. Really weak. It's supposed to be like a farewell single, but it's not special in any way (at least to me). Probably their worst song in a few years. It's not bad really, just weak. It sounds like an Avril Lavigne reject from 2001. I would have preferred if instead they would have used the same music style as their very first single for their very last A-side. It would've been a cool way to wrap up their careers. The music video is weak as well. I get that it's supposed to be a homage to their first single but those outfits are horrible. If they wanted to do something plaid they should have done it right. At the very least, I guess I can say that they're a massive improvement over the things that they were forced to wear for their first single. 3/5.

Really this single doesn't feel much like a final single, but more like a "well we have to release SOMETHING for their last single....what do we have left over in the vaults?" kind of thing. Luckily one of their best songs ever is their final final song (Love Together), so musically they won't end bad. 3.5/5.

Demi Lovato - Don't Forget

I really like Demi Lovato. I like that (for as much as I can tell) she seems like a very open and honest person. I remember when Camp Rock came out being so in awe of her vocal ability even though she was still young. Saw her in concert once when she toured with the Jonas Brothers. Her vocals her quite impressive. If she was that good live then, I wonder how she is live now. It's actually too bad that in terms of musical quality, her counterpart Selena has jumped away ahead of Demi. If I were to compare both of their newest albums, Selena would win in a landslide. Demi's most recent is truthfully quite boring (which I'll talk about when I eventually get to that album.) But, anyway, I can't believe this album is already about seven years old. Crazy to think about.

Track #1, La La Land: Ok, so obviously Demi was completely Disney at the time and still a young teenager, so this album can be kind of immature at points. Not really immature like acting immature but more....naive? I guess?....no...that's not the word either. Maybe inexperienced. Maybe. Like she's still so young so her lyrics and songs are more geared to preteen/teenage life than adult life. Whatever, you get what I mean. This song is one of those kind of "immature" songs. This was my anthem when I was younger. It feeds into the whole "rebellious"/"do your own thing" stage that all teenagers go through. [Note: struggled with how to put this because there's nothing wrong with going against the norm, just that this to me is really representative of the preteen/teenage mindset so I view it's content as more immature. You get what I mean.] The song itself kind of sounds like something Avril Lavigne would have done in her early years if her sound trended more towards the Kelly Clarkson style of pop rock music. I do love it though...brings back memories. 5/5.

Track #2, Get Back: I remember trying to sing along to this one as a young teen. Looking back on this song, it's lyrics are so painfully teen....and I used to think it was so cute. For the record, if you were screaming at each other for no reason, you probably should stay broken up. Just saying. But anyway, musically the song's pretty different than your standard Disney fare. This song in particular sounds like something Kelly Clarkson would put out (if she had debuted as a teen anyway.) 4/5.

Track #3, Trainwreck: Lyrically, I think this is one of the best songs on the album. However, it seems a little weird for a teen singer from Disney to sing some of the lyrics...maybe I'm just reading too far into vapid pop lyrics, but it just doesn't feel right for the type of song it is. Still like the lyrics though. Musically it's just another pop/rock track. 4/5.

Track #4, Party: I remember this song being played in concert very vividly. It was the song that made be say "I want this CD!". Too bad when I actually got the CD I was disappointed in the song. I had hyped myself up too much. The music just sounded so much more powerful in concert. On CD it sounds like a pretty typical Disney pop/rock track. 3.5/5.

Track #5, One The Line: This is the one featuring the Jonas Brothers. Of course this was one of my favorites when I got the CD. I was pretty obsessed with the Jonas Brothers. Now though, I still find it one of the best songs on the album. Not because of the Jonas Brothers (I couldn't care less about them now), but the song feels a lot different than the songs before it. It's still in the pop/rock Disney vein, but it is just different enough to leave a good impression. 4.5/5.

Track #6, Don't Forget: Are we really only halfway through the album? Wow I don't remember it being this much of a drag to listen to. Interesting what a couple years can do. Also doesn't help that this song is very boring. Too bad too because her vocals sound pretty good in this. The way she sings it kind of vulnerably instead of oversinging it is nice. Ah....forgot about that pick up at the end. Kind of scared me. Would be a better song if it kept that vulnerability the whole way through, even if I find it boring. 3/5.

Track #7, Gonna Get Caught: I remember this song being much different than what is playing. Probably the most generic pop/rock song on the album. About halfway through it and I cannot remember anything that happened earlier in the song. That guitar "solo" is really cheesy in the song....having guitars in your song doesn't make you edgy.

Track #8, Two Worlds Collide: I truly loved this song. Adored it. Thought it was so beautiful. Was very scared to listen to it now because I didn't want my memory of the song to turn out to be wildly different. Thankfully, it's just as great a song as I remember it. Yeah, the lyrics are cheesy and it's nothing specially musically, but I've always love the lyrics and the way she sings it. It's not always a bad thing to be cheesy or generic. 5/5.

Track #9, The Middle: My gosh it feels like the temperature has dropped at least 20 degrees in the past 5 minutes. Argh. I need a more high energy album to stay warm (I realize that makes no sense, it's just freaking cold here). What? The song? Oh right. I guess it's not interesting if I'm not paying attention. I remember playing it to death when I was younger though. It's actually kind of catchy now that I'm paying attention to it. Her voice sounds strained though in the song. She has a great voice even at this early part of her career, but I feel like she really oversang a lot of these songs and I wouldn't be surprised if she hurt her voice a bit. 3.5/5.

Track #10, Until You're Mine: I hate to admit it, but this is my absolute favorite Demi track ever. It's the only song from her first album that I still listen to regularly. I really don't know what makes it so special to me. The lyrics are teen and the music is the same standard stuff as the rest of the album. I guess sometimes things just click. 5/5.

Track #11, Believe In Me: Every teen album has to have the cheesy believe in yourself anthem doesn't it? It's great that we get an uplifting song about loving/believing in yourself, but to be fair most of these type of songs are extremely cheesy because there's no heart in them. Although, when I was younger, I liked to listen to this type of song because it made me feel happy. I guess that's what matters. 5/5.

Random interjection: Yeah I'm pretty sure the "polar vortex" mega freezing-ness has started....to everyone else living in the northeastern United States....stay warm! For everyone living where it is warm: I hate you very much. Just kidding of course haha.

Track #12, Behind Enemy Lines: This is the new song off the the deluxe edition of the album. I've actually never listened to it before right now. I bought the deluxe as a replacement for my original CD after I lent it to a former friend that never gave it back.....still slightly miffed about that. The song is really nothing special. I appreciate that it deviates greatly from the rest of the formula of the album, but it just doesn't interest me. 3/5.

Track #13, Lo Que Soy: The Spanish version of This Is Me from the Camp Rock soundtrack. Not really going to talk about it, but is she fluent in Spanish? Because every time I listen to this I don't feel like she is. Maybe it's just the translation and the arrangement since the song was originally in English.

Track #14, Back Around: Ok, so this isn't actually on any of the physical versions of this album, but it was released as a digital only track internationally. Does anyone else absolutely hate that? The whole releasing other tracks in other countries thing? It wouldn't be as annoying if there was at least a physical CD I could buy but when it's digital you kind of get forced to either get it through other means or just pretend it doesn't exist. It would be nice if the record companies would put out like 'super deluxe editions' that combined all songs from all versions....I'd spend the extra money for something like that tbh. It's disappointing that this is one of the best songs from this era. It's pretty great. 4/5.

Really the album isn't much like I remember it. It's got a handful of good songs, but it also has a lot of a generic and cheesy feel to it. That's all right though. I wouldn't expect much else from a teen girl's first album, especially one that came from Disney. 4/5.

Song Recommendations (February 8, 2015 Edition)

Hi everyone! I was not thinking of doing another song recommendation post for a while....but then 4Minute just released the best K-pop song since 2NE1's Come Back Home so yeah. Here we go!.

4Minute - Crazy

I haven't liked a 4Minute song since the release of Volume Up back in 2012. This is INCREDIBLE. Pretty sure I've played it 10 times by now and it's only been out for an hour and a half.

Yoko Oginome - Dancing Hero

So I've been slowly trying to get into some J-pop songs that are older. This one is from the 80s. Catchy stuff.

Doll Elements - Kimi ni Sakura Hirari to Mau

I hate myself for getting into more girl groups. It's too expensive of a hobby. Haven't heard anything else from this group, but I like traditional sounds in the song.

Ayami Muto - Parallel World

This was supposed to be in the first recommendation post, but I forgot to put it in before I published it. She kinda reminds me of a solo Perfume (cause the song reminds me a lot of Polyrhythm).

W - Samishii Nettaigyo

Just shoving this in here for good measure. I don't care if this is a cover. It's probably one of my absolute favorite J-pop/H!P songs ever. It might even be one of my favorite songs ever. Putting this here cause I finally bought the album it's on so I'm so excited to get that in the mail. The real version is by Wink and was released in 1989. I like the original too, but I heard W's version first so in my head I like it better.

Enjoy!

Song Recomendations (February 4, 2015 Edition)

So trying something new here as I figure that I'll never be able to keep up with those top 10 lists. I'm almost always listening to music and I always discover new things that I love so I figured that I might as well share some because by the time I'd get to doing actual reviews they'll be quite old. So here's what I've been loving the past few days!

Jolin Tsai - I'm Not Yours (ft. Namie Amuro):

This song is perfect! So ridiculously catchy and the attitude is amazing. There's some unfortunate English pronunciation (particularly from Namie), but for me it's easy to look past.

Angerme (S/mileage) - Taiki Bansei:

Angerme (S/mileage) - Otome no Gyakushuu:

Kind of cheating because there's two Angerme songs, but their new single came out today so please support them!

Cupitron - Battery:

Not many songs that I hear from indie idols interest me. This one is really wonderful though. Electronic-ish even. I swear that the red girl looks like Sayumi Michishige mixed with Nana Yamada, the green one looks like Aika Mitsui, and the blue one looks kind of like Yuu Kikkawa to me.

And that's pretty much it! I hope you enjoy checking out these songs!

High School Musical Cast - High School Musical

Yes. Yes I know. Laugh all you want it's okay. I said that I was going through my CD collection for this blog to actually force myself to write and gosh darn it I'm going to do just that. Even if it means reviewing things that were popular when I was in middle school. Although to be completely fair....earlier last year I had a High School Musical marathon by myself and loved every minute of it (I'm 21). No shame xD You've certainly got to give Disney credit for the mega franchise that they started. Too bad they had to go ruin it by making the third one into an actual movie and not continuing the franchise after it.

Track #1, Start Of Something New: I've always found it tragic that none of the High School Musical stars are doing much in music nowadays. Especially Vanessa Hudgens. I've always really loved her voice and I think if she'd have released music with a label not Hollywood Records she could be doing well right now. This was such a great way to start the movie....I can still remember 7th grade me fangirling over how cute they were as a couple. Anyone else find it so sad that Drew Seeley (the one who actually did the vocals for Troy in the first movie) never got any credit? He was utilized so much by Disney around this time and never really got anything out of it. I really liked him and he was very handsome. I wonder what he's up to now. [Note of randomness: looked him up, discovered he was in Stuck In The Suburbs. Very shocked....ADORED that movie when it came out. Watched it over and over....mainly because the singer guy was hot. Don't even remember his name but he was hot. It wasn't Seeley though.] But anyway....about the song? Really nothing special as a song, but it works well for the opening number of the movie. 4/5.

Track #2, Get'cha Head In The Game: Sometimes the suspension of disbelief is difficult to use in movies. This scene has always been one of those for me. Everyone on the basketball team thought that the drama people were stupid & they do a musical number? I get that it's a musical, but that part always bothered me. It should have just been Troy doing the number while everyone else was being normal. I guess that would have made for less interesting choreography though. Probably my least favorite number of the movie. 3/5.

Track #3, What I've Been Looking For: I always loved the part of Sharpay. She was a horrible character, but Ashley Tisdale has a lot of charisma when performing that makes you pay attention to her. It's too bad her musical career didn't really pan out either. She was the smart one that didn't stick with Hollywood Records and her music was pretty good. I guess she tried for mainstream success a little too early after HSM and it backfired. And what happened to Lucas Grabeel? Haven't heard anything about him since the movies. He's a pretty good singer too. Listening through this again reminds me how mediocre the first movie's songs are compared to the other two, and especially when compared to HSM2. 3.5/5.

Track #4, What I've Been Looking For (Reprise): The sappy scene where Troy misses the auditions for the play & Gabriella joins in! And of course they make the call backs because they're the protagonists! This scene is ridiculously cheesy and the redoing of the song doesn't help. 2.5/5.

Track #5, Stick To The Status Quo: Call me crazy, but this was absolutely my favorite song of the entire movie. I loved the entire sequence. I'll still sometimes listen to it just because. I think the even though they went for the most "outrageous" differences (like the bigger smart girl being a dancer, the sports star baking, the skater boy playing a cello.), the sequence is still really home hitting for me. I'm not going to go into why because honestly this isn't the place to ramble on about what I think of the world, but it still interests me even though it's a scene from a kids movie. 5/5.

Track #6, When There Was Me And You: Oh this song. I remember standing in my room attempting to belt out the song and record it. In retrospect, I feel really bad for my neighbors that probably heard my dying cat middle school vocals. HSM2's Gabriella/Troy breakup-sadness song is better than this one honestly. 4/5.

Track #7, Bop To The Top: So this movie came out before I listened to foreign language music, and I remember being so in awe over the fact that this song uses Spanish words that I could understand. Thanks to my middle school Spanish classes. Once again, Sharpay's sequences have the best songs. 4/5.

Track #8, Breaking Free: Also tried to belt this one out in my room. Such a cheesy song though. I feel like the climax of every Disney musical has a song that sounds like this. 4/5.

Track #9, We're All In This Together: More cheesy songs! I can literally see the entire musical number playing in my head. Of course everyone ends as wonderful friends at the end. No hard feelings at all. 4/5

Track #10, I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You: I was so confused when I got the soundtrack and saw this song on it. I had no idea what it was because it wasn't in the movie. However, this feels like a real song. And it's a little more mature than the rest of the soundtrack so I understand why it wasn't included. 5/5.

Track #11, Get'cha Head In The Game (B5 Version): Honestly don't care for the song already and don't care about this version either. I do something wonder what happened to B5. They were a thing for a couple years on Radio Disney and then disappeared off the face of the planet. 2.5/5.

So this was much less of a music post and much more of a personal nostalgia trip. Sorry. Also, I really cringed typing in that 2006 date for this movie. Has it really been almost TEN years since this came out?! That's really not possible. It just can't be. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go cry now that I realize that the kids I teach in my Sunday school class weren't even born when this movie came out. Ouch. 4/5.
