Ratings

This page is meant to detail what exactly my ratings mean. I am pretty biased with everything I put up, so you probably won't see too much of the lower ratings. I also don't really hate many things I listen to. I'm sure people have looked through my reviews and wonder why I really only give 3s and up. The simple reason is that even if I don't particularly care for a song, I don't think it's bad, I just don't feel like listening to it. I truly don't think I could name any song that I actually hate. I don't care about looking at music from an "objective" standpoint, which is impossible to do anyway. I just rate on my own personal preferences.

5: Absolutely fantastic; a lot of replay value

4.5: Fantastic; a lot of replay value (my point 5s are usually used when in comparison with other higher rated tracks)

4: Awesome song; some replay value but not a go to

3.5: Good song; usually skirts the line between could be interesting or fun

3: Average; usually indicates extremely generic songs or boring ones; is a good song yet has no replay value

2.5: Below average; has good ideas but not executed properly

2: Ok; isn't awful to listen to; too out their for my taste but could have good qualities

1.5: Bad yet with a couple redeemable aspects; novelty songs that are meant to be bad

1: Bad; practically un-listenable (rare rating)

.5: Awful; usually intended for music that is way out of my tastes (rare rating)

0: Shouldn't exist; intended for anything completely morally objectable or inappropriate (extremely rare, probably will never happen as it has to be very bad to get this)
